...using it as a warm blanket or poncho while watching TV and as a cover on my bed, replacing my duvet.
Very warm and comfortable. Being able to fasten the snaps to turn it into a poncho that stays on my shoulders is great. Able to go and get a snack without it falling off.
One of the disadvantages of trying to use a lightweight nylon quilt on a bed is that it's slippery and tends to slide off your feet when you move during the night. With the Onewind blanket, I was able to clip the snap fasteners together for the lower part of the blanket to create a tube into which I slid my legs. This trapped the bottom of the blanket and stopped it sliding around on the bed no matter how much I moved, while the top half acted like a quilt over my upper body - excellent!
Had some very cold nights but the blanket kept me nice and warm. Looking forward to using it with my Onewind Underquilt when I next go camping.
I'd been looking for a camp blanket to use in addition to my sleeping bag, and for sitting around the fire (or not) at night. This fits the bill perfectly, lightweight, compressible, warm, and love the snaps. Great Work and thanks OneWind!
I can not express enough how impressed I am with this blanket. I live outdoors year round and this has become a game changer. It's light, packs small and is super comfy. Lowest temps I have used it in was 25°F ended up soaked from a tarp leak but with just my body heat the blanket stayed warm and dried by the morning. Only thing I would change on the blanket is the fact you can't close the footbox and there's no synch cords for if you use it as a quilt. The side synch system the underquilt has would be perfect for this that way when you lay down it hugs your underside
Meet's all my needs year round, I love it
I sleep in a hammock almost daily and I don't use any other blanket. It is soft and warm to the point where I have to keep my room anywhere from 55 degrees F to 60 degrees F. I absolutely love this blanket.
