from 1143 reviewsI was looking for a large tarp to use with my 12' Onewind zipper hammock. I wanted one with doors for extra privacy and shelter for wind and rain. This is the one! It's super 👌🏻

Ive been using this tarp for the past few weeks as my primary shelter. Despite 4 days of continuous rain, it's kept my hammock dry. Being nylon, it does sag a little after getting soaked but thats to be expected. The design allows the ends to be closed off for prova8when camping at public campgrounds as well as when the direction of the rains change. The only improvement would be to add a few snaps to the ends to help better close them up

Onewind has a winner here. I was sent this after finding that a similar product was far too small for recreational camping and emergency bug-out purposes. The size of this is perfect for 1 average to large size occupant and a large pack/rucksack. Im 5'8", 245, and there's plenty of room to stretch out & relax, go through kit, etc.. Great head room. The bottom tub walls are higher than most tents on the market which is paramount when deploying in less than ideal locations, with varying weather. The material is quite good, and when used with ground sheet/footprint should hold up very well. The mosquito/bug netting is first rate, as are the zippers. Smooth, one handed opening/closing. No snags. I deployed the inner tent using two trekking poles, and a simple 10' x 10' tarp as a cover/rainfly. Could also be suspended between trees on a ridgeline. It folds & rolls up very compact and both it & the tarp fit in a "tactical" pack. The only additions I'd make would be a grommet on the end suspension straps, and tie out/stake outs on the center sides. I'd like to see Onewind offer this as a complete set (with tarp/rainfly & optional ground sheet). This is a perfect shelter kit for camping, bushcraft, bug-out.

I took this shelter out for a forest wild camp recently. I found the shelter to have plenty of room for my sleep system along with my pack, boots, tool and other bits and bobs.
I like it and I'll use it again and again.... next week in fact 😬⛺️

I was worried from other reviews that the cords to hang it would be to short. I have a 10.5" hammock and it hung fine. I threw all my bags and packs in this under my hammock until I was finished camping. Kept stuff dry and off the ground under my hammock. Great purchase!

I can not express enough how impressed I am with this blanket. I live outdoors year round and this has become a game changer. It's light, packs small and is super comfy. Lowest temps I have used it in was 25°F ended up soaked from a tarp leak but with just my body heat the blanket stayed warm and dried by the morning. Only thing I would change on the blanket is the fact you can't close the footbox and there's no synch cords for if you use it as a quilt. The side synch system the underquilt has would be perfect for this that way when you lay down it hugs your underside

This easily converts from Summer, Spring and fall. High quality and has many great features as a bug net, ridgeline, ridgeline storage (3 Pockets), Stuff sack and tree straps. Amazing Price point for the value!

I have a complete set of two shelters and two mosquito nets and have already managed to test one set during my winter overnight.
This is a really cool lightweight, compact & multifunctional shelter to use for 4 seasons with certain skills.
I'm looking forward to trying out all possible set up options, including one with a shower shelter.

A few years ago I got the Onewind gear sling and was impressed. Later I got the poncho shelter and was also impressed. Ditto for a hammock snake skin. Then I made the mistake of getting a dyneema tarp. Yes it was very light, but it didn't cover enough and in high winds and rainy situations things got wet, even stuff in the gear sling. I don't care how light something is if it doesn't do the job. So, based on the quality of other items I have from Onewind I decided to get the camo billow hammock tarp.
This thing is a palace. I comes with everything you need to set it up. I added some shock cord to the tieouts in the middle of each side so I could use my trekking poles to open it up even more inside. And I made a custom ridgeline. Other than that, no changes.
The stitching is quality work and everything is seam sealed. The tieouts are firmly attached and have additional fabric for strength. All the bottom tieouts have tensioners and you can use the shock cord to store the excess cord instead of leaving it on the ground for a late night tripping hazard. My first time using it the weather was just above freezing, windy, and rainy at times. Inside the tarp was perfect. Having the extra cloth to go close to the ground as well as the "doors" blocks most of the weather and everything stayed nice and dry. I could even leave my boots on the ground without them getting wet. In my other tarp they would have been soaked by morning.
Another bonus is that it blends in nicely with the surroundings. Some people like brightly colored camping gear. I like to blend in. The dyneema tarp was camo as well, but the fabric is shiny and you can see it from hundreds of feet away through the trees when even a little sun is out. This tarp is wonderful for blending in. I walked around the area after it was set up just to make sure it wasn't visible until you get close. Perfect!!
The doors come with shock cord and the carabiners to attach them to the side tieouts on the opposite side when you want to close them off. When closed the fabric comes together and blocks most of the wind. When not needed you can fold them back and attach it to the other one on the same side. I attached mine on the inside so I wouldn't have to go out to get them if it rained.
There is a lot more I could say about this wonderful tarp. Bottom line, this is yet another amazing, quality product from Onewind. I highly recommend it.

This past weekend there was scheduled to be a cold front moving in with expected heavy rain and thunderstorms.
I went out for this reason to give my equipment a good test, which I like to do every once in a while. Set up camp with my hammock, under quilt and tarp as usual. Sure enough Saturday night it come a severe thunder storm and it lived up to the hype given by the weather forecast. I was up on a small ridge and the rain stared to get heavier and heavier then burst of lightening appeared through the tarp and this storm was getting something fierce. I could hear the wind coming in gust which sounded like waves crashing the beach. All I could think of was maybe there was some kind of cell over me turning and each time it got back to the wind side, whoosh again. It got so bad that the tarp was blowing into the hammock and rocking me from side to side. This went on about two and half hours of heavy downpour. My gear got tested for sure. I must say that the only worry I had was the tent stakes that were holding the tarp would turn loose, but they did not. With the ends closed up in the tent configuration no rain got in and the gear held its own. Bottom line is I would trust OneWind gear in any weather condition. Stayed dry and warm through it all even with the 30 degree temp drop and storm front that came through. Remember to always check for widowmakers when you set up, I do not want to test for dropping limbs.
Thank you OneWind for an outstanding product.

This shelter is lightweight, sturdy.
It looks so cool !
This is my only shelter + rain gear, I'll use it in many outdoors videos.
I'm 184/6ft and it's a good size shelter and poncho !

My wife and I are getting into hammock camping and backpacking. This was perfect for her to be comfortable and feel protected from the bugs of Virgina valleys, Georgia swamps, and Carolina hill tops. She's slept well in hers and i traded in my home made for one of these as well. It would have cost me more to make one with similar features!
Don't under estimate the convenience of the cinch straps. It makes a good setup much faster and simpler.
I've camped in shorter hammocks and it was worth it to me to pay some 45 dollars more over the economy 9.5" bug net hammocks.

I so far love everything about the hammock I was tired of searching for right hammock for camping and motocamping sleeping in the trees is the best place yet. Just got to add 4 more items and my set up will be complete.

Have had cheap smaller hammocks before but this is nothing like those! Extremely comfortable. Find it more comfortable than my bed! (and I have a nice bed!)...wanted to get into hammock camping but smaller ones always felt tight and difficult to stay in for very long. I am in my sixties and have a bad back and usually wake up stiff and sore but not with this. With this larger hammock it is sooo much better and you can get a flatter more diagonal lay. Have had the best nights sleeping I ever had in this thing.
This hammock has all the fastener points to add an under quilt so adding that was really easy. So far Onewind had not disappointed!

I can't speak highly enough of my OneWind 11' hammock. It's so comfortable that it's hard to get out and back on trail the next morning. The adjustable ridgeline allows you to set your preferred sag and keep it that way for easy setup every time. The built in bug net is great for keeping the mosquitos and flies away in the warm months and can be stowed away in the double ended stuff sack when you just want to lounge or if there's no bugs. The ridgeline organizer they provide holds all my small stuff I like to keep in arms reach like my battery pack and headlamp. They even provide shock cord to tie out your corners at the diagonal lay which keeps the bug net nice and open when in the hammock. Well done OneWind!!
