This notice describes how Onewind Outdoors handles data through Onewind Value Repair, an internal purchase-value reconciliation tool under the Onewind Internal Tools name.
Data the tool accesses
- Shopify order data: order and line-item identifiers, creation and update times, sales channel, payment and cancellation status, currencies, quantities, discounts, product amounts, taxes, and the sales, refund, and order-edit records needed to reconcile those amounts.
- Google Ads data: the authorized advertising account and purchase conversion action, their relevant settings, and value-adjustment requests and responses.
- Authorization and operational records: credentials needed for authorized API access, reconciliation decisions, submission history, timestamps, service health, and aggregate notification status.
The current Shopify reconciliation queries do not request customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses, or payment card details. Order identifiers can still relate to a purchase, so these records are treated as restricted operational data.
How the data is used
The tool uses this information to calculate eligible purchase values, reconcile currency and amount differences, restate values for existing Google Ads purchase conversions, prevent duplicate submissions, enforce limits, and investigate processing errors.
Aggregate operational emails report processing counts, submission outcomes, and service health. These notifications do not include raw order records or authorization credentials.
Storage and service providers
Reconciliation records are stored on an Onewind-managed server. Dedicated access credentials are held in restricted private files. The tool communicates with Shopify and Google APIs for its authorized functions and uses an SMTP email provider for operational notifications.
Access is limited through dedicated service-user and file permissions. API and email transport use TLS. These measures reduce unauthorized access risk; they do not eliminate every security risk.
Retention and deletion
The reconciliation ledger is retained to support duplicate prevention, submission history, and operational review. The current implementation does not automatically delete each order record after a fixed number of days.
The daily backup process retains the most recent seven completed daily ledger snapshots. This does not mean that the live ledger or all copies of a record are deleted after seven calendar days. The tool's conversion-adjustment eligibility window is also separate from its data-retention period.
To request access to or deletion of relevant records, contact the support address below. Requests are reviewed with regard to identity, applicable obligations, and the need to avoid duplicate financial adjustments. Deleting local records does not automatically remove Shopify or Google records or reverse an accepted conversion adjustment.
Authorization choices
An authorized operator can revoke the application's Google access through Google Account connections. Revocation prevents further use of that authorization once it takes effect. It does not itself delete stored reconciliation records. Contact Onewind to request that processing be stopped or to discuss retained records.
Website privacy
This notice concerns the internal value-reconciliation tool. Visiting these pages also involves the existing Shopify storefront and its services. See the store privacy policy for website and shopping practices.
